here we go when I got it.

pros:
APR stage 3 turbo kit and tune
APR 3" downpipe and midpipe
Greddy intercooler core
spec stage 1 clutch
Autotech short throw
H&R springs
Caractere Spoiler (no longer made)
RSi Cup front bumper

Cons:
350 dollar body and paint job....yeah
busted billstien struts
stock audi tt muffler(yes its hooked to the 3" piping....i know)
busted interior
can't register in hamilton county the car has been stripped of all emissions
RSi cup front bumper has been cut all up(this is no longer made and highly looked after)
Trashed audi tt alms edition wheels
oh and its well a beetle

Where I want it. interior back in good quality shape, new coilovers(one day air), corvette saw blade wheels, the front bumper back to original state, smaller fmic, correct exhaust, new headlamps/blinkers, new intercooler pipping, and to top it off it will be painted porsche brown metallic, then whatever is leather inside will be redone in red leather with stainless steel accents through out.

so here it is....when I got it till now and then progress from there on out






So earlier this week I pretty much got the interior almost back in shape, just have a couple more pieces to work on.












Kinda jumped the gun and started the body work as you can tell I have to redo the intercooler pipping so I can put the correct blinkers back in place and put this bumper back to its original state.

haha, well I was moving at snail pace, but a guy popped up on a beetle forum with a silver 01 totalled in the front and was willing to sale me door panels w/ all switchs, a pillars, rear speaker mounts, and top dash pieces and brought them through on his way to athens for 250 bucks I jumped all over it...I'm looking to have it painted early next year. Oh and I have to replace engine mounts all of them asap.

Ehhh thats not too bad of a job to do just do em all one at a time shouldnt be too hard if im not mistaken.

I'm so jealous of progress. Mine is so slow, mainly because the Miata is my only car.

ha yeah, this is my only car as well. So progress will come and go in spurts.

well i cant wait to see where its going lol. it already looks awesome. i think a souped up bug is one of the coolest cars just bc they shouldn't be souped up lol. but your's looks good so its all good

oh and if you're having to change the intercooler piping due to the depth of the turn signals, look into maybe taking your stock lens and doin a led setup behind. ya know something real slim

yeah thats what I was planning on doing, but I want to run all new pipping just don't know where to get the pipping from.

usually my friends just buy a universal intercooler piping cit off ebay then cut them to fit and flare the ends.





seems to work for them so far

yeah, this is all new to me. So I'm taking my time and researching before I just buy a bunch of stuff and can't use it.
