Video brainstorm

So on my way home from work this morning i had this massive brainstorm on a video to promote and show off all the rides it may sounds wierd or crazy but thinking about it was so bad ass. We pick a song and show case pics (or walk around footage) of each ride and give a brief description of the owner/ mods then we incorporate burnouts flybys doughnuts in there as well. my idea for flybys is we start off with the g - z guys in a straight line behind the camera car we go from 20 - 45mph roll and then start from back to front have the drives come out from the back left to right and film flybys and showing off sound and looks then we do some showcasing of the g - z rides and add some doughnut / burnout or individual fly by clips then we do the same with the honda line up and everyone elses rides. Like i said was just a brainstorm i thought would be bad ass we could slap this up on the forum and or youtube. So let me know what everyone thinks

dude i think that would be awesome but with ya'lls cars and the drive bys and burnouts that would be so cool. that would be a great way to get the forum's name out there.

i know man it came to me this morning i was so tired when i got home but i kept writing shit down lol. i thought that it would be a good way to get the name out and promote shows and the sticker buisness

i totally agree.

sounds like a really cool idea. but ive delt with alot of car videos in the past and its hard to make it look right. first of you will need tons and tons of footage. and since your using a huge range of cars, that means even more footage.. its also good to have more than one camera. one or two low angles, one mid angle and one high angle is what you will want on the chase car, (camera car) then another camera on the side of the road catching the cars as they go by. as for the walk around part, its a little easier to shoot, but extreamly hard to get a nice fluid motion out of the camera as you walk around the car. you may want to make up some kind of rolling rig for that part. it could be as easy as a chair whith wheels.. your little versa would be a perfect camera car with those big windows that people can hang out of. and if you can get austin to help shoot the video he knows about a nice little hand held rig for getting low to the ground driving shots. I wish i lived closer. i would love to help with this.. there is SO much that has to go into it before it looks good. and even after all the footage is done your still going to have to get a good video editing program to put it all together with. and a little tip, if your going to put the video to music, make sure that youtube will accept it first.. i have made plenty of videos to music, then when they go to youtube it mutes them due to copyrights.. so yeah, its alot of work.. but if you do it right its well worth it in the end..

oh i know it wont be easy and i had thought about using my versa because as you said windows are huge in it and i also have a pretty nice cam as well but i i would leave editing up to brad and the others lol i do good to upload a decent vid on youtube myself and ive also had them mute some videos due to music but i just thought it would be a good way to promote sticker buisness and the forums and all the rides

Very cool idea but we are dealing with a very hard location to persuade to let us use their place lol so this for the show may not be the greatest idea for that now after it and using it to promote the site and the name.

sounds like a really cool idea. We could always do a teckademics style thing too. Turbodreams and DTM stuff...ahh the good ol days. We could even take it a bit farther and do something like a youtube channel. Link it to our forum with the facebook. This could be pretty legit!
