thoughts on an s4

Before I purchased my nova I was looking at b5 audis. Mostly s4s. It was near impossible to find one in all of the united states that I wanted. My only rules were 10k and under, no silver, and manual. Everyone I found had issues. So I looked at other stuff and picked up my nova. Now I'm looking to find another 4 door luxury car. I want something with heated seats for my girl and automatic. I've been looking at several kinds of cars, older bmws, is300s, etc. But I came across a deal on a s4 and I'm fighting the urge. It's an 01, black, non smoker 130k miles. The bad is it needs a rear wheel bearing and the timing belt done. I can do my own work do that doesnt bother me. The big killer is its an auto. I said I'd never own an automatic audi. I've been googleing and haven't found issues with the autos in s4s so it gives me hope. It's about 2500 less then the cheapest s4s I can find. Or BMW and is300 for that matter. I'm not looking for a race car. Just a fun dd. What do you guys think?

Yeah I want an auto. Which is why I was not crazy about the idea. Audi is not known for their auto transmissions. Google has not helped me with my decision either. I know a manual would be more fun though. The only reason I even looked at the car was because of the price on it.

We loved our IS300. Not a lot of power and it needs suspension to handle worth a crap, but everything else was awesome about the car.

I need a dependable a to b car with good looks. thats it. I have my other cars. Ive just about decided to do this route. By an IS300 then sell the lude and use that money to pick up a S4. I still want one ha ha.

The IS will be a great dependable car that has the looks.

I know. I talked to Travis about it last night. The car is great only thing not new are the turbos. The ones on the car are but working fine but I just want to make sure I can do the repair when I need to.
