New Tires Time Empty New Tires Time

Post by Rblevins Sun Aug 28, 2011 2:20 am

So the Integra's tires are on their last limb for the fronts. Gotta make em hopefully last for another 30 days a minimum till my school money gets here but when that day come I wanna get some sick stretch on my feet! Thoughts on a good tire for some nasty camber?

by good tire for camber not sure if you mean good tire for stretching or good tire that will last longer with the camber your going to have. but supposedly the Nitto Neogens are designed for lowered cars with camber. but in the G/Z community we usually stretch General tires..and Nexens seem to stretch well also..my continentals have a very slight stretch and i love them. Dont bother buying Falkens 452s for stretching..they bubble up when stretched..and have horrible road noise..Nankang/nitto/general...and alot of bmw guys stretch fuzion tires so theres a few good stretch tires

if i were you i would be looking for a tire with a hard compound. be a lil hard to stretch and wont grip as well but it will try to maximize whatever life you will get out of them. back when i was playin with imports before this whole stretch fad got big i would stretch federal tires to remove whatever sidewall wiggle was left in them on a 17" rim. changes some dynamics but nothing too hard to adjust to.

are you against just getting it aligned and the camber/toe/caster corrected? chattanooga alignment did mine for super cheap! and just about everyone on teamintegra.net says that the ebay camber kits work just fine for gen 3 tegs. prob cost 200 max and then you can get whatever tires with no worries!

My teg eats front tires as well. So bad that I just buy used tires. It's so low that I was pulled over one night for throwing sparks.
