slingshot dragster brainstorm thread

what do you guys think of this?

i'm gonna be using a chevy 250 straight six i got or 100 bucks out of a running truck. i also got a good deal on a t3/t4 turbo that i will strap to the side of this thing for a decent hp gain. since i made the decision to run the turbo i figured i might as well go ahead and make a log style intake for a holley 2 barrel and a log style turbo manifold instead of running a bunch of adapters to make all this work.

got a ford 8.8 rear end give to me by a good friend and a set of 15x12 cragars with the old sheetmetal screw beadlock, as well as the leaf springs from the same explorer to make quarter ellipticals for the front suspension. and speaking of the front suspension, i just recently scored a 1948 chevrolet truck front axle and spindles for 80 bucks (no kingpins or hubs tho)

heres a hint as to what im doin

cute little turbo...

it should spool very quick and not overpower this old 6cyl i have

i think this is gonna be a fun toy. I still want to build a gsxr go cart.

i thought about doin it seein as i have a yzf600 engine just chilling
